My device will not connect to Mobile Data, why is this?
Sometimes, with an older Android device, a phone may struggle to connect to your carriers mobile data network, despite being able to text and call fine. This is simply due to the connection settings on the device and with a few simple steps you will have mobile data online in no time!
The setup changes slightly for each carrier, but the first steps are the same regardless.
Firstly you will need to turn off your Wifi connection on the device and turn on mobile data.
Next you will need to go to Settings -> Connections -> Mobile Networks -> Access Point Names. Here you will then need to tap 'Create New APN' after hitting the menu in the top right hand corner of the screen.
